Finished Penny
As the "Title" says, I have finished Penny. Like, completely. Fixed up loose bits, crocheted around the leash hole (which I added in myself, it's not part of the pattern. I just binded off four stitches, then on the next row cast them on again..the middle ones, of course, right at the top).
I'll post the pics too. Prolly in this post, not sure yet. I've taken the photos, but Jaqui is on the computer which has all the cords and prgrams needed to get the pics from the camera to disc. I would if I could but I can't get it all working on my computer. I did ask le Man de la House, but the ports on my computer aren't..something. That's all I have to say further in the matter.
Tommorrow I don;t have to go to school. But, we have to go in, for fifteen mins, with a legal guardian, and be "counselled" as to our subject choices for next year. These choices are actually important, because they determine what we can do in year's 11 and 12, which then determines what we can do in Tafe and Uni. Well, it doesn't have such a large influence on Tafe, but, Uni very much so. So, yeah, I din't mind this, because the people are *hopefully* going to explain to us what our choices mean. Like, we go there with subjects which we would like to do in mind, then they explain the pros and cons of our choices. I like, I like.
I got new shoes today. Yesterday really, Mum got them though (I picked them out of magazine and she went and got them because I was stuck in school). But, I really like them. And I was showing them off to everyone. Boasting, but not in an "I'm better than you" type boast, it was a "I'm really excited about my shoes, do you like em?" type boast. And everyone liked em. One guy shared his true feelings, saying that they're "golf shoes!!", with a big grin on his face, and he later pointed out that theyre "better than your old shoes, they looked like guys shoes, I didn't like them". So, yeah. But, I was talking to my bestest friend, and saying "Do you like me shoes? Everyone else does, which is really cool!" or some such shit along those lines.
Anyways, she goes (not maliciously in the slightest) "Oh, yeha, but I think they'd just say it anyway, even if they didn't like them.". I asked why she though that, and she answered "I don't know, there's just something about you..I makes people want to please you.".
How am I sposed to take that? It's been bothering me ever since she said it. I kinda notice tht sometimes, but usually I just think it's the fact that I'm a girl and they're guys. But...I don't know. I don't mean to sound self obsessed. It's really bothering me though. I don't know if it's good or bad. Mmm. Help?
(Here's Penny)
Apologies for the bad photos..But, apart from my lack of ability..The camera isn't the best of. It was one of the older, first-ever type digicams. I still havent gotten my head around it fully yet, to take advantages of it's (I'm sure there are some) good qualities.
I'm not sure if Penny will be too small, though. I made the x-small size. The dog, Bonsai, is a pug puppy. But he'll grow. And pugs are on the heavier side of fat, are they not? Anyone who owns a pug who made Penny? What size? Does it actually fit well? But, it doesn't matter that much, coz I didn't mind making it, plus I have mucho left over yarn. So, I could just make another. Though, it does feel like a waste. Hum. I'll look up the average fatness of pugs.
Not long After
We have varying results. 5-12 lbs. 14-20 lbs. Who do I believe? I know who I want to believe! Argh, have found another that says 14-18 lbs again. So, I think I'll have to make another, larger one. Oh well. I'll get a different colour to do cool stuff...Some sort of pattern is needed. Hum. Has to work with ribbage. I'll come up with something.
Ok, I have no more pics to post. Nothing else to say.
So long, mes amigos!
