The Zopfpullover. See, WAY too short. Sleeve hole is WAy to tight. Neck opening is WAY too small. But I think I can still make it work. By the way, that's the skirt I made. It's a lot cooler in real life.
Hum. Well, I've got the Fantasy Naturale down to 5 sts/inch on 6.5 mm needles. Is something wrong? Didn't I get that same gauge on 5.5mm needles? Well, tomorrow I'm going to see if Johnsons (some shop up in Blackwood, it sells..School uniforms, mens clothes and..crafty things. And odd assortment) and try to get some 7 and 8mm needles, see what I can do with that. I don't want to have to be altering this pattern. I want to just knit it from the book, you know?
Oh, well, you know that swap that was going to be for Phildar Ete? Well, that fell through because there was a book that was important to the swap which I just can't seem to get my hands on. So, I have no real use for "Resort Knits" anymore. So if anyone's up for a swap, then I'd be very willing to trade, just leave a comment and I'll get back to you ASAP.
Hm, I've started on Shedir, so far it's going well. I'm into the first cable repeat. No pictures yet, because it's looking pretty scrapy, and I've given the camera back to the rightful owner.
The Zopfpullover is just sitting on the floor of my room, in a crumpled pile. Maybe it's because I'm lazy. Maybe it's because the last four days have all been over 33 degrees Celsius. Maybe it's because it's a litttle mangled.
I'm a little moody today, I don't know why.
Wow, you should go over and see Norma'sRogue, it's soo cool! I've picked out the top three colours:
Cleckheaton's Merino Supreme for my Rogue. I was going to do a Tweedy thing, but it would be too epensive, and who needs drabness in Winter? Though, it doesn't really matter all that much right now, because like I said, it's been very hot of late.
