(Click to see what was in it..And what I also got recently!)
I was so excited, becaue it meant tha I could knit up my Naturelle 8/8 from Elann (no link because it's out of stock now)...But, even though it said that GGH's Java and the Naturelle were of the the same gauge and thickness and stuff...It's just too thin. It's too thin! ARGH! So, now, I have to buy yarn. And, being in Aus., which does make me feel deprived sometimes, I can't get my hands on the right wieght yarn, with the right compostion. Will have to order off Patternworls, because I want to, and because I have the catalogue! I'm going to get this, in Sage (#8013)...I really like that colour. Plus it's cheap. So..Yeah! But, before I do spend the money..I'm going to have one last try at getting the gauge for "Jacke in Apricot"... And hopefully, i will actually like it. Waaaaa... The thing that bothers me is that...I was informed that the yarns matched, you know? But they don't!
No knitting pics, because I haven't been knitting anything! I've just been bumming around! And wanting to knit, but not being able to, because I have nothing to knit! Any suggestions for an 8ply/DK weight cotton/acrylic/unknown lend? Something spring/summer-ish? I'd rather not have to pay for it, either seeing as I'm going to have to beg mum for the money for the Apricot yarn...I need a job! Which reminds me, I applied for a job at Big W (department store),Woolworths (despite the misleading name, it's a supermarket) and all the little other things that they own...So, hopefully, an opening will become available! Bye bye!
