I cut out and interfaced all my hat pieces. (The paper is the printed out instructions for the hat. I use "Wild Things!" by Wild Ginger.)
I killed the sewing machine. No, not really, but it was my fault that it wasn't working. Excuse: Because I use Bernina's at school, I wasn't threading the threading right, I kept missing a hook. Oh well. Least it's working now! And I actually know how to use it. It's a great machine.
The hat on the other hand..IT's CRAP. C-R-A-P. I haven't finished it yet, I'm not sure that I will. It's all stiff and pointy and CRAP. I'm angry. And now I've gotten to a point where I have to laborously baste some pieces together by hadn, and can't jst munch through them on the machine. I think it will lie in it's current state for many a long day.
Angela's socks toe. Loooove this yarn. Donna let me know that the Bendigo Woolen Mills sell the same stuff (under the name "Harmony") for $11 for 200g. If I were to buy 200g of the Breeze, it would cost over $20. So this is a very good saving, which I'm quite happy about! They don't have a website, but you can call them on +61 (03) 5442 4600. ("+61" is our country's code, the (03) is the code for Victoria, and then the rest is the phone number..There's a special toll free number if you're in North America, but you'll have to google that.) Today's Sunday so I can't call to get my sample card, but I will first thing tomorrow morning.
The Flower Basket Shawl. Almost one complete repeat of the Lower Chart or something? The second chart. I'm going to rip that out (again, when I start the latest one it'll be the 6th time I've cast on for this) and knit it on bigger needles. It's just not getting that open, lacy look. And honestly, those leaves or whatever are tiny compared to the ones on the model.
