Intorducing :Tom-Tom! This big boy is modeling the "Bonsai Sweater" from Ashik0's new line, called "Camo". The style is comfortabley loose, and boy does Tom look good! Here we see the boy eating:
And here, a sultry Tom stretches in his new favourite outfit for this Winter:

(The obligatory candid camera shot, taken by the younger sibling of the Photographer):
Enough of that crap. I finished it last night, but did all the weaving of ends and crap this morning. Then spent an hour trying to get Tom into it. I worked out that if you just shove his feet through the holes, then you just have to slip the rest of it over his head and it's fine. He isn't the intended recipient, that's why it's waaay too big. I think it was really heavy for him, too, because he was walking sort of how I would imagine a disabled cat would walk. It's about 150gms, I'd say, used about one and half balls of Elle's "Galaxy" in shade 426. I do actually really like the yarn, and would probably knit with it again, even though it's fully acrylic. The only thing that would stop me from making anything much bigger than the Bonsai Sweater would be that fact that it wont wear well. I had it rolled down as a turtle neck for the Tom-Tom coz he's got no neck, and that was just for the photo-shoot, he didn't move around much, but when I took it off, the underneath, where the fabrics had been rubbing against itself was already fluffing up. But, you know, it was cheap. I reckon it looks really good, and it'll look even better on the fat little pug that Bonsai is. I'll have to post it to the Father in the next few days. As soon as I get pics of Bonsai in it, I'll show you. I'll put the pattern up soon, it's just a rip off of the one on Knitty, I just altered it to be more puggy and to work on thicker yarn. And, pictures of embarassing work unifrom. No, there will be no shots taken with or without my knowledge of me in it. You snap a shot of me looking like that, I snap your neck, K? Well, maybe not, but I look like a 12 year old.
Note the nifty Maccas emblem on sleeve and cap. Also, note how the belt is cool because it's styled after a "Skaties Belt". That shirt is XS, by the way.
